Orphan Care Alliance would like to formally invite you to our Spring Adoption and Foster Care Seminar.
The event will take place at Southland Christian Church. If you have been to our event before, we encourage you to spread the word about this brand new seminar! The speakers will focus on Isaiah 1:17, defending the cause of the fatherless. God’s adoption of us is only the beginning of the story for many of us! Growing a family through adoption or foster care is one of the many ways to carry out our mandate in James 1:27 to care for the fatherless children in our world!
We are thrilled to announce this year’s keynote speaker, JT Olson, founder and executive director of BOTH HANDS. Both Hands’ purpose is to help Christian adoptive families fund their adoptions by coordinating a service project fixing up a widow’s home. Both Hands’ vision is to see the day when finances are not an obstacle for Christian families who are led to adopt, while simultaneously serving every widow in need of home repairs.
During the keynote address, JT Olson will tell his story of adoption and talk about overcoming obstacles as you journey toward your own adoption!
OCA presents adoption and foster care from a Christian perspective.
The breakout sessions cover a wide array of topics that will help your family sort through the complex process of adoption, both domestically and internationally.
The breakout sessions pertaining to foster care will both inspire and educate you concerning the realities you may face when fostering and provide resources and lifelines to guide you along the way. You will gain invaluable information to take home, digest, and pray over so that you can feel comfortable about the many decisions that come along with adoption and foster care.
