What is OCA Gateway?

OCA Gateway is an online system designed for you to request goods and services for vulnerable families and children you serve. Enter a request today and it will be sent via email to the volunteers in your area tomorrow morning. When a volunteer chooses to meet your need you will get an email with their phone number and email address so you can connect and handle the need. It is that simple!

What is “Matching an Offer?”

If a volunteer has something they want to give, instead of waiting for a need, the volunteer can enter an offer. Offers are then emailed to caseworkers in the area. If a caseworker has a need for what is offered, they can match the offer in the system to receive the item or service for their client.

How it works…

  • All of our Life Coaches are background checked, interviewed, and trained by OCA Staff, to ensure the young people we serve are safe.

  • We ask our Coaches to meet with their mentees weekly for one calendar year, so they can have consistent and ongoing support.

  • Mentees must be:

    • Age 12 +

    • Have foster care, adoption, or relative care experience

    • Be willing to connect weekly with their Life Coach for one calendar year
