Born in January 2001, Jaquelyn,  better known as JACKIE, can be described as Little miss Personality! She is a very likeable and funny young lady with a great sense of humor. She likes to play with dolls, skate, practice karate, and play soccer and basketball. She also plays the clarinet. She thinks it is fun to play games on the computer.

Jackie likes animals, especially farm animals, and hopes to become a veterinarian. She is a bright girl and a good student. She also enjoys attending church. Jackie tends to need lots of praise, and nurturing.

As far as discipline, the worst thing for Jackie is when she thinks you are disappointed in her. She always apologizes and tries to make amends. Jackie responds well to positive attention and works hard to earn rewards for good behavior at home and at school. Jackie deserves to have a lasting family and she wants to be chosen and loved. She also thinks it would be great to have grandparents.

Right now, more than 300 Kentucky children are living in foster homes, group homes, and residential centers, waiting for adoptive families. They're not the babies many of us think of when we think of adoption.
