Becky Raver

Together in the Trenches Director

Becky and her husband Ty have been married since 2000. During their 16 years of marriage, she has served Jesus as a pastor’s wife, music teacher, children’s ministry director and adoption advocate. Ty & Becky have grown their family of 7 through natural birth and foster adoption. You can find her thoughts and encouragements on foster care and adoption at The Adoption Cottage


Monica Wendel

Resource Development Manager

Monica and her husband Shane have been married since 2000 and have been blessed with four children, two by birth and two by adoption.  Monica’s heart is to honor the Lord by being the hands and feet of Jesus however she can.  In addition to her most important roles as wife and mom, she is also a professor at the University of Louisville and a social justice activist pursuing God’s vision for racial justice, reconciliation, and healing.


Corinne Paul

Program Manager

Corinne is a passionate and quirky daughter of the King that is full of ideas! She has been married to her handsome hunk, Chris, for 12 years and they have been blessed with 3 beautiful children. You can find her in Louisville, KY speaking at Mom’s groups or encouraging one mom at a time over a cup of coffee (Quills anyone?). It is with great joy that she serves with Together in the Trenches bringing insight from the perspective of those just starting their journey.


Katy Adams

Hospitality Manager

Katy and her husband Bryce have enjoyed 8 years of marriage. They currently live in Texas while raising 4 amazing children! Their family grew by God’s grace through the blessing of foster care, adoption and natural birth! Their heart’s story desires to reflect the gospel in more than just words, but through their lives as well! Their foster care journey began 6 years ago and they desire to continue in foster care as long as the Lord permits it.


Amanda May

Communications Manager

Amanda May is the founder of Walton House Books, located in Louisville, Kentucky. She is the communications manager for Together in the Trenches, as well as a copy editor for local organizations. Amanda is a work-at-home wife and mother of three.
