Will you stand with families and children in Kentucky and southern Indiana?
All throughout the year, OCA ministries equip Christians to care for the fatherless, youth in foster care and families in crisis. Orphan Sunday is a chance for you to do the same – at your church, within your family or in your entire county through OCA Gateway!
Join the movement and share your story using one of these hashtags: #wrapafamily #ChickenforOS2017 #MakeADifferencewithZaxbys #OrphanSunday2017 on social media!
How will your church raise awareness and stand with families and vulnerable children in 2017? If you are unable to make it to a Zaxby’s location, consider donating 10% of the cost of your lunch or dinner on November 12! Help us reach our $10,000 goal to expand #OCAGateway into 17 new counties in Kentucky and 5 counties in southern Indiana.
Prevent foster care placements and keep families together by meeting needs of local families in your area. This ministry will be launching in southern Indiana and the Salt River Region of Kentucky, but first, we need to build our network of Christians. Use Orphan Sunday to advocate for this amazing ministry so it can launch in your county in 2017!
On Orphan Sunday, Christians stand for the orphan. We are a people called to defend the fatherless…to care for the child that has no family…to visit orphans in their distress. Locally, Zaxby’s restaurants will be partnering with the mission of OCA and will be giving a portion of proceeds from November 12 to OCA ministries. So, whether you meet a need on the OCA Gateway or take a foster youth or parent in crisis out for lunch – we can all do something to make a difference on this day!
